I chose Tetra to install ductless mini split heat pumps and electric hybrid hot water tank because of its great reviews and the 10-year fully covered plan. It has been a great pleasure to communicate with Dominic, Jet, Randy, and other team members during the entire process. The system was installed very quickly after the HEAT loan was secured. I am very happy with its performance so far. The crew from Lighthouse were also very friendly and worked very hard to have the system installed. Thanks to all!
I appreciate Tetras team to respond promptly and finished the difficult project especially in Condo. I saw technicians work many hours. They tried to figure out to install furnace and new wire in limited space. Also, they covered walls without gap. I give you 5 star rating. Thank you from my bottom of my heart.
Of the installation team, only 1, the leader I asume, spoke any English. Could not communicate with them. The electrician, I could talk to. I had a little problem with the system which was handled very quickly. I am pleased with the system, the crew, and everyone involved. Thank you. Google
Our Mini-Split purchase experience with Tetra has been no less than superior. We dealt with a team dedicated to seamlessly delivering everything we required on time, at the exact price quoted, and with no pressure. We were always informed as to when and what was going to happen. Typically, we do not write reviews immediately after a job has been completed, however this project demands acknowledgement of a job well done. In fact, if one did not know we had a whole house installation performed, you could not tell that anyone had been here. Everyone on the project was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, careful, and took obvious pride in the quality of their work. To be honest, we do not yet know how the Carrier mini-spilt units will perform but if they work as well as the sales, support and installation teams have done, this may be the best home upgrade we have ever done. We had Tetra help us upgrade are existing AC and burner into heat pumps and a hybrid hot water heater. While it took most of a day to do, the team could not have been more efficient and professional. Even when a very small issue occurred with a hallway light not working, post installation, the installers came back the next day to resolve the issue. The heat/cool pumps themselves work terrific. I would highly recommend using Tetra if you're in the market for such an upgrade.

I was honestly skeptical at first because their price was better than anyone else. They knew everything about my house without even coming onsite and they knew exactly what I needed. Install was east and the units look/work GREAT.

From the day I signed the contract to the day of installation there was constant communication letting me know exactly what would happen next and what was required of me. All my questions were answered and the installation was scheduled quickly and completed on schedule. The price was MUCH lower than all my other estimates - by thousands of dollars! Tetra even followed up post installation to ensure all was good. As an added benefit, they assisted with completing and submitting all required forms to ensure I receive my rebate and HEAT loan. If only more contractors demonstrated this level of customer support! Highly recommend for your HVAC installation.
I used Tetra to go green and get a heat pump installed in our entire home. I got several quotes from various contractors but Tetra's pricing was super competitive and, in general, their streamlined process and the transparency and honesty about everything was above and beyond! Highly recommended!

Excellent job all the way from planning through sizing capacity of condensers, onsite visit and executions in a timely planner . Reba was very knowledgeable and walked us through the entire process. Tetra is technically very competent and had a deep understanding of the MASS SAVE program, how to apply for a rebate, how to get financing etc. Jon Legg privided great support to schedule the installation.The crews that came to install the HEAT PUMP were very knowledgeable and did an excellent job . The customer support interactions were very good. TETRA is a very responsive organization with great capabilities and were lower cost than competitors

Swift and professional service
They were fast, well-digitized, and handover from sales to project manager to support was smooth, too. The actual installation work was outsourced (to HomeWorks), but I had no problems getting everything explained/answered through Tetra. Upon completion and full payment, they did the paperwork for MassSave rebates, and all (from quote to rebate check) was done in 100 days. Highly recommended at least to be included in HVAC contractor search.

After looking into several companies that could help us install heat pumps in the home Tetra stood out for several reasons, including their pricing, their great reviews, their friendly and knowledgeable team members, promises for ongoing maintenance and repairs if needed and the fact that they would help us navigate all the MassSave promotions. I'm happy to say they've come through on all fronts so far. We couldn't be happier with our new heat pumps. They're so much better than window AC's and I'm looking forward to my first electric bill, expecting a big savings from what the much less efficient AC's were costing us. I expect I'll feel the same way when the Heat pumps help with heating bills this winter too. I feel good about investing in something that I hope goes towards a more environmentally friendly and sustainable future too. I would highly recommend Tetra and have already told many people about the company.

Instant quote over the phone, online tool for the documentation, the finance and massive process easy to do. Communication was always pronto. Requote post home visit was as fast as the first one and service installation was done 3 days after within a day. Seven heads and 2 condensers, The crew was awesome. They did a tremendous professional clean job. I am glad with the Tetra service from begining to end.

Tetra was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with from start to finish! We purchased an older home and knew we had energy concerns, we also wanted a mini-split system for air conditioning. We started the process by trying to get a Mass Save home inspection, we inquired about that several times and was actually kind of hard to get. Tetra checked in regularly and lined one up for us immediately when we said we were having trouble. The inspection was super helpful and informative, we qualified for new insulation, a heat pump with mini splits, and a new electrical panel for a very reasonable and subsidized rate! Everyone we interacted with throughout the process was professional, knowledgeable, and generally great to work with. I would 100000% choose to work with Tetra again as well as NeeeCo, which is a partner company that did our insulation. They made things as easy as possible and did a great job keeping things moving forward. You won't be sorry!
From the minute I inquired about the mini split system it was the most smooth transaction I have ever experienced. Every person though out the process was so helpful and very nice. Customer service was excellent and was there if you needed anything. I would HIGHLY recommend Tetra to anyone that is thinking of installing these amazing units!!! Absolute pleasure doing business with Tetra. Hot water tank broke and Tetra came through like superman and got us back up and running in no time. We converted from gas to electric and at a way more affordable price than what some of the other contractors was trying to charge.

Working with Tetra was a pleasure from start of Project to Completion
The Tetra service (installation and follow-up service) was great. HOWEVER, the Gree products created a bit of a sticky wicket for Tetra, which took Gree ten (yes 10) months to fix, and the fix mandated by Gree was stupid, in our opinion. The problem is that 2 of 6 units work on 5G wireless and hooked to the network and our phones instantly. but the other smaller 4 units used 2.4G, which according to many of our tech-savvy friends, means these were much older "clear out the old inventory" sales of years-old, ancient units by Gree. The solution that makes sense to us and to several of our tech savvy friends, who do network-based hook-ups for a living, would have been to Gree to fix its Gree software to accomodate both 2.4 and 5G, since none of us thinks our problem with ancient 2.4G units would be an isolated occurrence. Instead, the fix chosen by Gree was to install new circuit boards in the 4 units with 2.4G, which entailed two tries and a final success 10 months after the initial installation. Tetra was very patient and did a fine job, hobbled by the equipment and software from Gree. Yes it all works, but WOW that cost Gree a bundle of $$ for a stupid solution.

Just had my system installed on 6/4/2024 and I can’t be more pleased. The team that installed the system worked cohesively and efficiently together, were friendly and always asked my opinion in better placement of units and duct work. The system is up and running and my whole house is cool and comfortable. So far a 5 star rating for this company who prior to the installation were great in contacting me and answering my questions. Tetra did a wonderful job with the mini-split system they installed. The install team was very accommodating and willing to work with us in the design stage. The installation itself was quick and painless. Finally, Tetra make is super easy to apply for the rebates and takes away the guess work. I highly recommend them for any heat pump/mini-split work you want done.

Tetra installed our minisplit system last year. The installers did a great job and Tetra was great to work with throughout. Tetra's staff were immediately accessible when I had questions or needed guidance with documents necessary for rebates, a no-interest loan, and warranties. Tetra's experts on mini-splits and hybrid electric water heaters provided essential guidance as I had no prior knowledge regarding these kinds of appliances. I did lots of comparison research and remember in particular how respectfully their hybrid electric water heater expert shared the pros and cons of water heaters that Tetra offered and didn't offer. I felt like their staff were truly interested in helping us get the best possible results for our home. Another way of stating this: I always felt that I was working with expert consultants and not sales people out to make a buck. I recommend this company highly and without reservation.

Tetra did my HVAC upgrade. I have to say it’s one of the best customer experiences I got. I updated my 25 year old furnace to dual fuel heat pump. The quote I got from tetra beat everyone else in Norfolk area. Jet on the sales team answered every single question I had. I had lot of questions. Their installation crew is well trained, on the day of installation they considered every single request I had. We ran in to a technical issue due to the advanced electronics in the new system. Tetra send service team 4 or 5 times and resolved the issue. Thomas on the technical team was amazing, took care of all the problem. Terra manage the whole process via app, so you know what exactly is going on. Unlike like other contractors Tetra does not push you for sales nor ask money upfront. It’s a stress free business transaction. Also their 10 year warranty on part and labor is the best I seen in the industry. Tetra managing the mass save paper is cherry on top ! If you are looking for HVAC upgrade I recommend using tetra !

I am very pleased with the whole process. The people I talked to at Tetra were very helpful, guided me towards a system that was perfectly adapted to my needs (Bryant furnace hybrid gas/heat pump) and AO Smith hybrid heat pump/electric water heater. They also replied to my questions very quickly. The physical installation process was very smooth and very rapid (a few days) once I made my decision, the installers did not take any shortcuts and left the place very clean. The price was very competitive.
Would 100% recommend calling Tetra if you are considering adding heat pumps to your home. They were the last call we made and glad we called. Everything was straight forward, fair and very simple start to finish. If you are shopping around give them a call you will be glad you did. This company is exactly what you hope for when investing your money into something which can be hard to find nowadays.

We are so glad we found and went with Tetra! The people were so responsive and quick, the process was lightning speed, and the install was perfect and professional. Our install took place on a snowy 19 degree Saturday. The team never complained and worked as quick as they could. They were courteous, efficient, and cleanly. One of the best parts about Tetra that set it apart from other companies we had considered was that they do so much of the paperwork for you. Our loan application, the rebates, the tax credits, the Mass Save documentation. It was flawless and so helpful. We were able to send our documents in few different modalities, so I could just text in photos of our home and use a portal for more sensitive docs. It was all so easy and I felt cared for every step of the way. We'd gotten a few different quotes for mini split systems from a few different companies but none of them could compare with the level of service and ease that Tetra provided. We are very happy homeowners right now, and are so grateful that we are more comfortable AND sustainable than ever! Thank you Tetra!

InHome took care of all the Mass Save paperwork so I got a $2,400 rebate instantly instead of needing to wait. The installers were also very high-quality. Easily the most helpful company I found to replace my boiler.
InHome was much easier to work with than other contractors I considered. I answered a few questions online and got a call in 10 minutes with a quote to replace my boiler. The account manager handled all the Mass Save rebate paperwork and 0% financing paperwork, so I saved hours doing that. Any questions I had throughout the process I could just text the Account Manager and he quickly replied. Overall I saved time, money, and headaches working with this company and would recommend them
I had a ductless mini split installed. Laina was great to get the propoisal to me and all communications up to inspection two weeks after deposit received and installed one week later. Very professional, responsive, excellent quality and exceptional price, half the costs of all other bids I got for the job. We used Homeworks on their new online system called InHome for a new HVAC system and I must say everything was very seamless and efficient. It was super easy to follow the online process. The installation, the removal of our old oil tank. The crew wore their masks and were pleasant. I highly recommend!

Depending on what you're used to for heat and A/C, Heat pumps are different, and often come with a bit of a learning curve. Tetra stayed with us every step of the way as we made the necessary adjustments together with then to help our system perform well. At the end of the day, you want to work with a company that sticks by you. Tetra stuck by us !!! And their pricing was very competitive.....
