Tetra installs three kinds of water heaters.

On-Demand Water Heater
On-demand units heat water as you need it, directly from the water main, using high-powered burners. These hot water heaters are compact, typically mounted on a wall, and do not have a water storage tank. On-demand heaters offer a constant supply of hot water because you’re not reliant on the amount of hot water in a storage tank. These heaters also tend to be more efficient than storage tank heaters.

Electric Hybrid Water Heater
Also known as a heat pump water heater, this system uses a highly efficient heat pump to heat and reheat the water stored within an insulated tank. It uses considerably less energy than a standard gas or electric tank heater. An electric hybrid water heater can hold anywhere from 20 to 120 gallons of hot water depending on your needs.

Storage Tank Water Heater
This system heats and reheats the water stored within an insulated tank, which is anywhere from 20-80 gallons. When a tap or appliance calls for hot water, heated water exits the tank from the top, while cold water enters from the bottom to refill the tank. A Storage tank water heater can hold anywhere from 20 to 120 gallons of hot water depending on your needs.
